The ATC is not all drill, dress and discipline! Similarly with military life it also has a number of social activities for its personnel to enjoy and 494 Sqn is no different. Socializing develops a great sense of moral, improves team and helps add to the ‘esprit de corps’.

The unit holds regular events such as Mess nights, summer balls, quiz nights, charity golf days, bowling and even trips to Theme Parks such as Thorpe Park.
