From 16th to 18th May 2008 494 Sqn organised a weekend of Adventure Training and shooting at Brunswick Camp, part of the Army Training Regiment at Pirbright. Over 70 personnel lived in barrack style accommodation, ate in the cookhouse and undertook some advanced military skills training.
Cadets undertook training on the 27 obstacle assault course, Bramley Leadership and Development Centre, climbing, abseiling, and No. 8 rifle shooting.
Cadet also ventured into Guildford on the Saturday night for an evening of ten pin bowling.
