12 Nov 07 saw a change of command for 494 Sqn. Flt Lt Rob Hall RAFVR(T) had been in post since April 2006 and has now left the unit to pursue a full time career as an RAF Regiment officer. Wing Commander Glenn Mayes promoted Fg Off Ellie Chinnery to the rank of Flight Lieutenant and she has now assumed command of 494 Sqn. The Sqn wishes Rob all the best in his new career and will certainly be working with him in the future in his capacity as a service helper.
