	9 Feb Flying at RAF Wyton Cadets 494 undertook air experience flying in the Grob Tutor at RAF Wyton		15 - 17 Feb Basic Skills Training Cadets from 494 undertook a Basic Training Weekend at Carver Barracks.
	25 Feb 07 Hole Digging Ceremony OCdt Moakes, Cadets and the Sqn President join the Airport's Managing Director for the 'hole digging' ceremony for our new HQ!		7 - 9 Mar Falklands Training Camp The Squadron organised a Falklands Training weekend at Carver Barracks.
	21 - 24 Mar Peak District - Silver Expedition Cadets enjoyed a frosty expedition in the Peak District.		25 - 27 April Falklands Trophy 2008 494 enter 3 teams and finish third at the annunal, inter Squadron competition.
	11 May Inter Squadron Athletics 494 Sqn win the Essex Wing athletics trophy!		16 - 18 May Exercise Pirbright Panther I 60 Cadets and 20 Staff from 494, Essex and Suffolk Wings enjoyed a weekend of adventurous training at ART Pirbright
