	26 Jan Graduation Parade Cadets from Intake 002 graduated and werer enrolled as full members of the Air Training Corps.		16 - 18 Feb IET Weekend Cadets from 494 joined forces with 276 Sqn for a weekend of basic training.
	25 Feb 07 Flying at RAF Wyton 15 Cadets go flying with 5 AEF at RAF Wyton		16-18 Mar Exercise Black Panther 1 The Squadron organised a fieldcraft exercise for 100 Cadets and Staff near RAF Odiham.
	May DEA Training Weekend Cadets enjoyed a weekend of shooting and a undertook their DEA expeditions.		May Essex Wing Athletics The unit attended the annual inter Squadron athetics day at the Melbourne stadium.
	Jun Inter Squadron Sport 494 Sqn beat 1096 at rounders!		10 Jun Elsenham Fete 494 support fundraising and the local community
	3 Aug Graduation Evening Intake 004 graduated and were enrolled into the Air Training Corps.		4 Aug Summer Ball To celebrate the newly enrolled Cadets and promotions the Sqn had its annual summer ball.
	10-17 Aug Sennybridge Camp Cadets from 494 joined Cadets from No. 1 Welsh Wing for a week of fieldcraft and adventurous training.		2 Sep Obstacle Course 494 undertook some obstacle course training at Colchester Garrison.
	11 Nov Remebrance Parade 2007 Cadets from 494 paid tribute in a parade in Stansted Mountfitchet.		12 Nov Handover Parade Flt Lt Rob Hall hands command over to Flt Lt Ellie Chinnery.
	16 Nov Flt Lt Hall's Dining Out Over 120 Cadets, Staff and Guests gave Flt Lt Hall an excellent send off!		18 Nov Inter Sqn Cross Country 494 win the Essex Wing Inter Squadron Cross Country Championships!
